Engagements, Bridals and Weddings : There's nothing quite as thrilling as shooting a wedding--lovely gowns, handsome tuxedos, growing anticipation, bubbling emotions, heady excitement (and don't get me started on wonderful destination weddings!)... What photographer wouldn't want the chance to photograph that? But the absolute last thing you want to do is trust your special day to just anyone with a camera--after all, there are no do-overs at the altar. I may be biased here, but I've always considered wedding photography the single most important element of a wedding, apart from the actual marriage, of course. Years from now, after the reception menu is long forgotten and you'd never admit you ever did the "Macarena," your wedding album will preserve the beauty and joyful wonder of that day. Seniors and Teens : Let's get one thing straight--senior portraits should be FUN! It doesn't matter if you're shy in front of the camera, because during our session you are the center of the universe. All my high school senior portrait sessions focus on students' personalities and interests, you know, everything that makes you unique. I work hard to put everyone at ease and create a relaxed environment whether we're shooting at the river, at the stadium, downtown... wherever holds special meaning for you! Let's sit down and talk about how I can make your senior portraits cool enough to show off to your friends!

Seniors and Teens

Glamour, Boudoir and Pin-up : It's amazing how empowering pin-up and boudoir photography can be. I hadn't considered that element before I started offering these sessions, but the response has been phenomenal! You don't have to look like a supermodel to take beautiful, sensual or even sassy portraits that you'll be proud to offer as a gift for your significant other (even though you really shot them for yourself. Don't worry, it'll stay our little secret!). I know the best posing angles and lighting techniques to capture you in the most flattering way possible, so all you have to do is relax and be beautiful! And brides, have you considered a surprise honeymoon gift your groom will never forget? Then ask me about an elegant bridal boudoir photo session and stylish, keepsake album that's guaranteed to drop his jaw to the floor! Don't worry, all your images are kept in a locked gallery. All of these ladies are models or clients who loved them so much they asked me to share them with you.

Children and Families : Remember those old studio family portraits where everyone stands around looking stiff and miserable, counting the moments until they can change clothes? I don't do that. If I haven't mentioned it before, I'm all about FUN and making your family portrait session as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. I can set up a creative and distinctive family photo session that's limited to a couple of children or large enough to include all the grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins! Kids--gotta love 'em--have a short attention span and boundless curiosity, so having a photographer who is also a Mom herself (that would be me!) and brimming over with patience and a well-honed ability to anticipate the perfect shot guarantees everybody goes home happy. Trash the Dress : So the big day is over -- it was a blast -- and now you have this beautiful dress (with a few wine stains perhaps) that you'll never wear again. But before you pack it away forever, give me a call and we'll have some fun with a fantastic "trash the dress" style photo shoot it before it hits the closet shelf and the mothballs! (Don't fret over the name--in most cases the dress isn't trashed at all, and cleans up just fine!) If you simply can't bear to wear your own wedding dress but love the idea of trash the dress, call me anyway--I have a few lovely, second-hand dresses on hand that we can put through the ringer over and over!

Fine Art : Although I specialize in weddings and portraiture, I enjoy stretching myself artistically with landscapes and other types of fine art photography. So does Jayme, with his experiments in macro and infrared photography. What it all adds up to is beautiful wall art for your home or office, strikingly presented on large metallic prints, canvas gallery wraps or whatever format best suits your particular need. Our fine art work can be viewed at Schobel's Restaurant in New Branufels, Texas State University in San Marcos as well as other locations around Central Texas.
